On December 18th, the Sichuan Logistics Open Innovation Development Conference and the 2024 Sichuan Modern Logistics Association Annual Meeting, with the theme of "Open Innovation and Cooperative Development", were held in Chengdu. The reporter learned from the meeting that as of November 2024, the total number of national A-level logistics enterprises in Sichuan Province has reached 350, including 13 5A level enterprises, ranking tenth in the country and first in the western region.
At the meeting, Zhang Jin, President of Sichuan Modern Logistics Association, delivered a work report entitled "Open Innovation for Development, Jointly Creating a New Chapter in Logistics", comprehensively summarizing the association's work in 2024 and introducing its work plan for 2025.
The report points out that in 2024, the Sichuan Modern Logistics Association led leading enterprises in the logistics industry in Sichuan Province to actively integrate into national strategies, participate in the construction of the Western Land Sea New Corridor, vigorously promote the development of southbound and westbound opening, and establish strategic cooperation with the logistics supply chain industry and commercial logistics industry in Yunnan and Xinjiang. At the same time, effective cost reduction and efficiency improvement work in the logistics field was carried out, achieving significant economic and social benefits.
In addition, the conference also awarded the title of "Sichuan Logistics Outstanding Contribution Unit" to 53 units that have long supported the work of the association and made outstanding contributions to the development of the modern logistics industry, and awarded the title of "Sichuan Logistics Outstanding Contribution Entrepreneur" to 10 people.
The successful holding of this conference has injected new impetus into the open and innovative development of the logistics industry in Sichuan Province.
